What is “Got Your 6″? In the military, “Got your six” means “I’ve got your back.” The saying originated with World War I fighter pilots referencing a pilot’s rear as the six o’clock position. It is now a ubiquitous term in the military that highlights the loyalty and cooperation found in military culture. GY6MMA teaches that form of loyalty and honor and it is core to their beliefs and practice. The branding assignment started with a “feel” that the client already had in their mind for the most part. So it was my job, as is often the case, to bring that vision to life.
